Survivor
The more they try to twist and revive this show the more it is not captivating. It also appears that the longer a reality show runs the harder to watch contestants are. I'm trying to choose my words carefully when talking about the individuals to not be unkind, but contestant screening needs some work. It is like they are just looking for the ones who are most likely to shed the most clothing or make drama. Unfortunately the drama you get is soap opera quality drama. I think if they had engaging people the entertainment would happen on its own instead of mixing this and that and trying o make it pop.
My wife made the point that some people she knows and even herself started watching again because it was going to be in China. They thought it would be interesting to see some of the culture, the landscape, the history, but not much there. I actually gave up on this a couple of weeks ago.
Bionic Woman (2007)
Maybe I am biased by my expectations from the 70's TV series. Maybe I don't get this show since I am no longer a twenty something. I don't if it is the edginess of the lead or her lack of morals or the show's darkness or what. Whatever it is this show is pretty bad. Did anyone screen the pilot or prior to that the script? Did they think that changing the little sister was going to fix everything?

Amazing Race Nov 2007
The teams start out choosing a vehicle from a line of vehicles. None of them can go until the first one goes. Instead of picking the first vehicle they all grab one of the color they like or the closest one to them. They then honk their horns, even though they chose poorly and they will get out no further ahead than the ones in front of them.
Based on this and many other aspects of their introductions I have my doubts about how capable most of these teams will be.
The players seem to be a lot more foul mouthed than previous seasons.
One team steals another teams taxi, possibly getting the driver in trouble and then they have the nerve to order him around and tell him to not let the other teams pass.
Will the goth couple really take the time to put on all of that makeup every day of the race? Will they be able to get help from people around the world making themselves so distinctive?
Asian dude singing O'Danny Boy. Nice. He's hilarious and what a dancer.
"Ari and Stella, you're the last team to arrive. I'm sorry to tell you, you have been eliminated from the race"
